Bo Ky offers classic Teochew/Canto noodle dishes with occasional viet/cambodian features. It reminded me of the food my grandparents use to make for my family!! The country style duck (卤水鸭) was very tender and spot on with their spices and seasoning! It can be a little salty if you're not use to the flavor profile but I enjoyed very bite. I wish the shrimp rolls (虾卷/虾枣) was more shrimp heavy than their fish paste but it was fried very nicely and thoroughly. For their noodles, you have to specify a noodle type and I was feeling my egg noodles - thin and thick! You can also add a bunch of toppings to your noodles as well. The thick egg noodles was what I was craving the most and when paired with the curry chicken sauce - it really hit the spot!! The curry was thick, well-seasoned, spicy, and coconut-y. The chicken meat was tender as well as the eggplant pieces. The clear broth of the dumpling/beef balls noodle was good too, but what really brought out nostalgia was the pickled veggies they used! To me it was a variation of either 冬菜 or 雪菜. The thin egg noodles were chewy although became slightly soggy after a while in the soup. Their meat balls are all house-made, and the beef balls 牛丸 were extremely chewy. Their house-made chili oil was also delicious! It not only had a peanut taste, probably helps make it thicker, but also had lots of fried chili pieces and this sacha 沙茶/seafood flavor. Maybe because it combined all the things I love, I could not stop eating their chili oil!! I was so tempted to buy their chili oil separately! As a mom and pop shop, service is what you get. But the food speaks for itself and it comes out quick!! Cash only!!

Came here for lunch on a weekday. The food is definitely very authentic tasting, so no complaints about that. For the price, the quality is also really good. As this is a mom and pop restaurant, don't expect amazing service/dining experience: you come here for some hearty Chinese food and that's it! If I lived in New York, this would be a staple restaurant for me.

Love their food here. I always get their noodles dry with the soup on the side large. Their homemade hot sauce and sour sauce mixed with that is super super good! Curry noodles are also very delicious too but don't wear white! Your shirt will definitely get dirty from the splatter! Don't expect great service here but the prices definitely reflect that. The waiters are rude but that's because they don't want you to waste their time. Super affordable and tasty. Where else can you find great food?! Wish they stay open longer and have a location in Brooklyn.

Easily five-star food. Big menu with fantastic quality. Depending on the dish, you can choose your noodle type from a selection list, so it's customizable to preference. Curry noodles is my go-to order and never fails to win over people. The duck skin in the Mushroom with Duck soup is extremely tender and flavorful. The wontons are a fun, crispy appetizer--feels like a chip more than a wonton. The table sauces ramp up each dish! The green pepper sauce packs a tangy, zappy twist and is a star condiment. The shrimp-based red chili sauce adds a great depth as well. I do admit the workers can be intimidating in terms of speed and attitude, but I don't take personal offense to it whatsoever.
